Sindh Blacklists Teacher Over Controversial Question Regarding Muhajir Community

Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) has blocked a teacher who had included a controversial question regarding the province’s immigrant (muhajir) population. The teacher had asked students to detail the problems engendered after accommodating a large number of immigrants.

SBTE has ordered the Controller of Examinations to ensure the checking of question papers before finalizing them. The chairman said that the teacher who set up the form had been blocked, and the exams would be re-examined in light of the incident.

Chairman SBTE also apologized to the immigrant community and assured them that the board would take robust measures to prevent such incidents.
